hey, hey good lookin'

Here's a little something I came up with using one of the new Hero Arts digi kits at 2peas, Kitchen Silhouettes.  I love all the different images and have big plans for this set.

I love all the amazing colored kitchen gadgets these days. When I got married, there was very little fun stuff out there... Although, I must say I got an amazing PINK cake platter from a good friend that I am still obsessed with!  Thanks again, Ashley!

So, I decided to work the previous idea in with Paper Crafts Color Inspiration #9 challenge, here

Added a cute computer generated sentiment for fun!

Moxie Fab World Card Play Challenge

Moxie Fab World challenge time again.  This time: Card Play

I love the idea of this challenge.  There are so many different ways you can go with it.  Unfortunately I couldn't find a deck of playing cards in our house or a single card stamp.  How can that be?  Gonna have to fix that...

Anyways, I played in photoshop and here's what I came up with:

Super clean and simple and I know just who to send this to!

Tuesday Trigger: Delightfully Random

It's Tuesday Trigger time again over at Moxie Fab World and I just love this weeks trigger, Delightfully Random!
There are so many ways you can go with it.
There are the flags, the buttons, the doily, the flowers, the spools of thread, the envelope... it just goes on and on and it is SO delightfully random.  Oooh, and the color combination- LOVE that too!  Thank you Cath for picking something so terrific!

For my card, I really wanted to play with 3 things: The teal background, the envelope pattern, and the bird.  I also really wanted to combine the pinks and reds too.

 I love patterned paper.
I'm addicted to it.

I took this opportunity to combine a bunch of papers that I love into something also delightfully random and pretty!  Lots of paper-piecing with the birdie too!

The little bird is from My Cute Stamps Ella's Flowers and the sentiment is a rub-on by Pebbles.  The patterned papers are by Echo Park, Pebbles, & My Minds Eye.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

Hi All!

Well, this is a squeaker.  I am getting this in just barely in time and WAY past my bedtime.

Anyways, here's this month's Paper Smooches' Sparks Challenge.

And here is my card:
(EDITED to upload a better photo)

The birdhouse stamp is from Hang Ups and the sentiment is from Word Up.
It's late so that's all I've got.

CAS-ual Fridays Mini Card & a Thank You!

Hi All!

First of all, I have to say I am overwhelmed with happiness and thankfulness for the support of my recent Paper Crafts rejects.  To see them, click here.  Like I said in that post, I really decided to stay true to myself and my own crafting style and I absolutely love what I created.  So, thank you again for your support!  To see everyones kind words means so much!

Now to the card...

Ok, how much fun are mini cards!?!?!
I had to play along with ÇAS-ual Fridays Challenge for Mini Cards, anything smaller than 4"x4".

This little number is a 3" x 4" and I used Paper Smooches Surf n Turf for the whale and the hat is from Birthday Buddies.  The sentiment is computer generated and a Kim Hughes font from Scrap n' Font.
I gave this little card to my very own birthday boy, who turned 4 yesterday.
Happy Birthday, Parker!

Loving Paper Smooches

Hi All!
Here to share some rejects with you from the recent Paper Crafts call.  I didn't have anything picked up this go around but I'm really proud of everything I created because it was truly my style.  I've struggled with creating for the purpose of publication so this time around I decided to stay really true to myself and my own style and although they were rejected, I'm 100% thrilled with everything I created and can't wait to give these away!

This first one I created using Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases & Hang Ups.  I love the paper pieced lanterns!  I submitted this one to the Spectrum of Color category.

Another Paper Smooches card using Sunny Side Up.  LOVE!

Ooh, and one last one that truly makes me giggle:
Again, I grabbed my trusty Paper Smooches, this time Alphadot and Hang Ups.
I submitted this one to the abc & 123 call.

I've linked up my rejects to Amber's blog for the reject blog hop. Thanks Amber!

That's all for now!

You Are A Doll

Is she just C-U-T-E?  I love this little Matryoshka doll.

She's by Holly Brooke Jones and available here as part of the Fantastic Nesting Dolls digikit.  I love Digital stamps.  I love that I can get them instantly and can sneak them into the house without the husband knowing!

I followed the sketch for the shaped cards challenge at Moxie Fab World.

Girls Night Out

I've loved the Hero Arts Silly Scape stamp for awhile so when it went digi (here) I had to have it.  And, as a bonus, the cloud background actually comes with it.  I love that cloud background.  Funny enough, I used the rubber stamp Hero Arts Clouds (here) version on my card.

I decided to do a girls night out card after meeting up with some of my old friends last night.  We had a girls night out - but just stayed in!  So much fun.

I created this card using the square card sketch challenge over at Moxie Fab World
